It’s hard to believe that the holiday season came and is on its way back out the door. Though the remnants of Christmas music can still be heard in the halls, it’s now time to look to the horizon of a new year.
While I am still figuring out my New Year’s resolutions, I can say in certainty that I am so thankful for those of you who have supported me and followed along for 2024. It was a big year for us as we were able to finally buy our first home. A scary and yet wonderful experience that has been the highlight of the year. I have enjoyed a year with much travel and exploration of different mediums of art. This year I have been especially proud of some of my digital creations, “mamacita” still being my crowning jewel.
I can’t wait for jiggy my way into 2025 and the new adventures in art and life that await. Right now I seem to be obsessed with dragons and moving into creating more mixed media pieces that includes watercolors, acrylics and pastels. It may sound like a bit of a Frankenstein situation but hopefully it will continue to smooth out its mash up as I practice and play around.
I can’t wait to see you in the new year and cheers to the fun and excitements that were had in 2024!
